8 Week Summer Tour a Huge Success!

The band has arrived home safely after 2 months on the road in their 1953 GMC tour bus, affectionately known as the “Funderbus”. A few highlights of the summer tour include performing at the Waterfront Blues Festival in Portland, OR, with special guest Anson Funderburgh (with over 130,000 attendees this year), Highway 99 in Seattle, WA, the Alpine Blues Festival in beautiful Alpine, AZ, Biscuits and Blues in San Francisco, CA, Yolie’s in Ventura, CA, The Rhythm Room in Phoenix, AZ, The Funky Biscuit in Boca Raton, FL, and Bradfordville Blues Club in Tampa, FL. The full band performed live on several AAA and Public Radio stations, including NPR in San Francisco. Tour manager, Wendy Layton, did a great job of “Wrangling Cats” as she calls it, keeping everyone happy and things rolling along smoothly over the 10,000+ mile trip.
